Movers Denizcilik Meets Students at ITU Maritime Faculty’s 29th Traditional Career Days

As Movers Denizcilik, we were delighted to meet with students at the 29th Traditional Career Days organized by Istanbul Technical University’s Maritime Faculty.

During the event, we had the opportunity to introduce our activities, working culture and perspective on the maritime industry to ITU Maritime Faculty students. We also had an engaging exchange on the rapidly evolving maritime sector, digitalization and the career opportunities emerging for the next generation of maritime professionals.

With a fleet of six vessels and headquarters in Qatar and Istanbul, we continue to place technology and digitalization at the heart of our operations. Through our own software solutions, we focus on making our operational processes more efficient and sustainable. In the areas of training and quality management, we actively utilize the MTR Training Platform and RISQ (Risk Information System & Quality), supporting high standards across both our vessel operations and human resources.

During our presentation, we also shared our perspective on the future of the maritime industry and the young talent who will shape it:

“A train is moving; we will eventually get off this train, and now we are choosing those who will get on it next.”

For us, these words reflect our confidence in the next generation of maritime professionals who will help shape an industry that is continuously evolving and transforming. We believe that young talent is not only the future of maritime, but also one of the key forces driving its transformation today.

Following the event, we had the opportunity to continue our conversations with students during the cocktail reception. From digital transformation and vessel operations to career development and the future of the maritime industry, we exchanged ideas and listened to students’ questions, aspirations and perspectives.

We would like to thank ITU Maritime Faculty and the ITU DF Career Club for bringing us together for this valuable and inspiring event.

We look forward to meeting more of the maritime professionals of tomorrow and continuing on the same course together.
